This Prym tape maker forms of any length of 12mm bias binding for use on fabric edges or quilts. By cutting the fabric strip at a 45 degree angle to the grain of the fabric, the bias binding is elastic and can be processed perfectly, even on curves. After the fabric strips are cut and joined together, the material is introduced and pulled through the wide opening of the tape maker. On the flat side of this useful aid, the perfectly folded bias binding can be pulled out and smoothed directly with the iron.
