Wild Things After Betsy completed a drawing challenge to create 100 animals in 100 days, Wild Things groups the various creatures and gives them a home in their natural habitat: The arid plains of Africa, the vast and icy ocean, traditional farm life, and the cool deep woods. Betsy Siber is an illustrator and surface designer based in Chicago who loves to draw quirky characters, bold midcentury-inspired shapes and hand-drawn lines that appeal to color-lovers of all ages. She lives and works in the Wicker Park neighborhood in a 120-year-old coach house with her artist husband, two inquisitive and energetic young daughters, and a cat named Dot. She finds inspiration in vintage textiles and travel posters, her daughter’s lego sculptures, and neighorhood wall murals.
